I recently drove along the R44 near Wellington and spotted a big, bulky structure on the horizon. At first I thought it was a combine harvester, but as I approached, no wheels materialised and the structure got even bulkier.

That’s when I realised – it was a stack of hay bales. As I drove past the bales, something set among them caught my eye and I hit the brakes – is that a tuk-tuk?
